A B-52’s best of album was released only 3 years ago, but once again it takes
Rhino Records, the master of reissues, to give this Athens, Georgia party
band its due. The double-disc, Nude on the Moon, serves up every key track
that band recorded, from the seminal "Rock Lobster" from their timeless
self-titled debut to their smash late ’80s and early ’90s hits "Love Shack"
and "Good Stuff." Throw in a couple of rarities and live tracks, stellar
liner notes by writer Michael Azerrad, personal reminisces from each band
member and oh-so-colorful packaging, and you’ve got an essential package for
anyone that went to college in the ’80s.
